I bought this 03/07/2011 from Academy Sports and probably averaged 4 trips a month on the Ocmulgee. The reason I am selling this is because I got a good deal on a new kayak and I don't need two at the moment.
It is a Pelican Castaway 116. It is 11ft 6in long, 2010 model, built in 2011. I've replaced the factory crap seat with a more comfortable Crazycreek chair which has a small storage area on the backrest. I have added the in-hull storage compartment behind the seat as well as the deck cleat for an anchor system. It's got a dry storage compartment in the front (I would recommend a dry bag to use in it though) and storage in the rear. It has a pivoting rod holder in the front( between legs) and has 2 fixed rod holders behind the seat. Most importantly it has a cup holder between the legs as well. It has normal rock scratches on the bottom (nothing bad) and should last for many years to come.
I'm looking to get $300 for it, these sell new at Academy for $379.99. The CC seat cost me $40. Willing to meet at Summit Racing.
