I had to finally get under my car to remove all the chassis bracing and prepare to drop the transmission, damn car has been on jackstands for a week. I enjoyed the pitter patter of rain coming down the gutter from inside my garage as I worked....

Depends on the year Miata, since mine is a 02 with sport suspension, it's got 4 braces that need to come off. The best part was one of the rear ladder brace mount points fucked itself on the last installation of the brace...took me 30 minutes to unfuck it.

Yea his is an 03 so its just like yours. only problem we are having is lack of enough extenions lol to get all the trans bolts out. question for ya. did tou have to take the exhaust off ? like the manifold and downpipe or just the downpipe?
