I just ordered a HID kit and for my car the headlight cap that seals out dust, etc needs to have a 1 inch hole drilled into it, But I dont have a drill. Does anyone know if you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and have them drill a hole?

I used to work for lowes back in the day and they offered no such service. The only services they offer like that are for items being purchased from the store.

My girlfriends brother has a drill but not the 1 inch bit, so I'll get the bit, much cheaper that way!! LOL

You need a bit that will fit the drill. Assuming that he has the most common drill, it will take a 3/8 shank. You will have a hard time finding a normal drill bit that will be 1" and fit that shank. HD and Lowes will probably point you to the 1" wood drill bits.

You may find that you need a smaller drill bit, and a Unibit to get 1".

Walmart has drills cheap. Probably will only last a few times, but you only need it once so...

Actually when I took the car Saturday for a recall, they drilled them for me at the dealership, so I installed them Sunday morning with no issues, so now, I dont need a drill again!! LOL
