It seems that the "transition" of Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers may just mirror that of the Joe Montana/Steve Young switch-off, but I wouldn't put a Kyle Orton/Tim Tebow move in the same boat. Kyle Orton, although decent in his own right, is hardly a Favre or a Montana and we've yet to see any traces of Tebow being a Rodgers or Young. I'm not saying this because of being a non-fan of Tebow (I have no judgment on the man because he hasn't really had his chance). Later, QD.

Orton/Tebow is a stretch both ways, Orton is no Favre, Montana or Bledsoe and Tebow is an unknown.
wishful thinking on my part being a Gators fan.... but on the examples we do have.... i dont remember anyone seeing Steve Young, Rodgers, Brady or Cam Newton coming.... hell i remember Steve Young getting boo'd out of the building.
