The "old IA" as you see it isn't the good old days of IA. You weren't around during the grand days of IA. Those days came during the infancy of this site. It was probably the best forum around. Any other forum that tried to pop up never got off the ground like IA did. We didn't have all the negativity that permeated through the cracks. Everyone got along with everyone. There were no issues. If I were to sign on now and post pics of my '96 Neon, I'd be laughed right off this site. I would be ridiculed and textually beat down. When I signed on 10 years ago, I had that '96 Neon. How many laughs came my way? Zero. Never got made fun of. I was instantly accepted. This lasted from 2001 til about 2006 or so. Then slowly, as the site got bigger and lack of respect grew along with it, attitudes starting going down. At first, it was cool and everyone had laughs by it. I was one of those that took part in that, I admit. But after a couple of years of that, people started coming on here that would take all that seriously. That's when I stopped. To me, the last couple of years before IA's slow down were the worst. Later, QD.
