car is totalled, kinda good ,gives m3e a reason to get the 240 i want and to do it right, but damn i hate the hassle, in not 21, so i cant get a rental car.

heres the pics.. ouch... broke the front rim(konig gtr) in half :2up:

Glad you are okay. I hope that the cops gave her a ticket and that the police report lists her at fault.

As for everyone claiming a big lawsuit, they don't work like that; especially if you only have minor injuries.

No shit... friday night on my way to ATL i almost died. I was passing the adairsville exit doing about 80mph when the cobalt in front of me starts to merge into the middle lane. At the same time another car is merging aswell and the cobalt yanks the wheel to the left come within feet from the bridge wall then yanks it back to the right causing him to turn a complete 180. At this point he is facing me in the middle of the lane. Fortunately for me i didnt panic and eased the breaks to keep from hitting him. He slide into the middle of the median and i pulled off to the side of the road. Nothing was wrong with his car, he didnt hit anybody, no one hit me even tho traffic was all around us. We were both very fortunate.

Trust me, you don't. Waking up in pain day after day after day gets old very quickly...and doctors can't fix everything. Some things are just out of their control in terms of how the body heals. It isn't worth it...

Won't cut it... You need LASTING injuries to get any real money.

Losing an arm might get you the money that people hear about, but breaking a bone that will eventually heal won't get you much at all for the most part.

Life lasting injury = money
Anything short of that won't be much... It really depends on what you want.

1. Do you want to have money, but feel pain every day or not be able to walk correctly?
2. Or, do you want your health and only a little bit of money in a settlement?

Having Medical in your insurance plan is nice...I have a $5k medical in my car insurance. When I got in my wreck it was nice to have since you will probably be in therapy for quite a while for the back and neck. Now I cant even walk for long periods of time without my back aching.

Good luck with the healing process, I blame society for the aspirations that spring from auto/job etc. injuries. lol

Looks like you'll be changing your screen name soon maybe?

Hope you don't have any lasting emotional affects from the accident.

Like everytime you see a female driver in a Camry....

Seriously.

If you would have bought me a #1 at the Varsity, I would have just given you an S13 and you wouldn't have had to go through all of this.

Good luck with a speedy recovery.

MOST all insurance companies will provide you with rental reimbursment. Like someone mentioned above, you get a rental car for the duration of your repairs or until you get another car, all at the expense of the insurance company. You don't even have to be 21, as over the years growing up I've been in situations like you.

The only catch is that you MUST have the rental reimbursment on your insurance plan at the time of the accident. If not that you are screwed.

He can always use the other person's insurance to get a rental car (which is what he should do anyway). :)
