The current turbo, damn ebay, on my 1jz is going out, i blow smoke everywhere on hotsdays and when im oil runs thin. I got offered a t3t4 with a 60 cold and 84 outlet that came off an deseil turbo dodge truck for my SAFC and 440cc injectors

which is the same size turbo im running but with a slightly bigger inlet,

IM sure itll bolt up to my set up, other than testing for shaft play should i be worried about anything else? there shouldnt be a problem running a desiel turbo on a gas engine, or at least i hope

People run diesel turbos on gas engines all the time. Look up Holset HX35. I ran a mercedes-benz t3 on an old turbo d16 setup i had with no problems.

Holset makes the turbos on the cummins.. http://www.myholsetturbo.com/modelinfo.html you might be able to find some more info on it there. Heres another site with some info.. http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/FAQ/turbo_faq.htm (i used to have an 03 cummins).

http://forums.nicoclub.com/the-world-of-holset-turbo-charging-t307766.html (this might help you out some aswell). Good luck.

Yeah theres plenty of people running the holset turbos, and if im not mistaken the gt35r is a powerstroke turbo and its also been used on gas burners.

the only thing you gotta be concerned with on the diesel turbos is the operating rpm range...typically diesel turbos make all their power down low and die out around 4500 rpm. Lots of people run diesel turbos on gas engines, they all work the same in theory :goodjob:

My friend has an old Garret diesel turbo on his Chevy V8 and it runs magnificent. Dyno'd somewhere around 600whp 556lb-ft at 5500 RPM. It was decent considering the other mods it had.
