Lifted up the prelude to check out my o2 sensors and noticed my oil pan looked weird as hell. is this normal? should i replace it? it sure as hell is clean on the exterior and isn't leaking oil.

also is this notch between the tranny/motor normal? (center of picture, the black hole) there's a tad bit of dampness form oil - which i'm sure its leaking from the head gasket because it runs from the back of the IM down to the bottom - never get any oil puddles/drips or anything in my driveway or at work

yeah, i freak out easily.

This is true. If it does break, it will rid my procrastination about getting a swap.

Both are perfectly acceptable. The first is just the signs of where the pan was cast. they are not actual cracks through the pan. The notch between the trans is for oil to drip from incase the rear main oil seal starts leaking.. to prevent oil from puddling and getting on the clutch.
