I know absolutely nothing about cameras. I was going to purchase a Nikon p80 digital camera tomorrow for $175.

Curious if this is a good camera for an amateur camera user and if $175 is the right price. The only thing im looking for is a good easy to use cam for sharing pictures on the internet. Any better cameras in the $200 range? any suggestions welcomed.

Thanx

What are you looking to do with it? For an every day camera, that is a good price.

I picked up a Nikon L110 just after the new year from Wally World for under $200. We love the thing. For a complete amateur (me), it is great. A link is below:

Later, QD.

I also was looking at that camera in January at Office depot for $139...
It looks nice but it takes just as good pics as the other smaller coolpix models.
