its almost about the time ppl...
the h23 in my lude is about to hit 253K soon...
burns oil like crazy...despite me fixing tons of parts on there..its time to get another motor..mine is faithful and will probably run another few thosand miles..maybe even more..it still hauls ass for what it is and drives fine

however..i want a peace of mind!....

so i want to start pricing full h22 swaps...

so lets see what u got..

Just go buy a jdm longblock! Dont buy someones problem trying to save alittle money and end up spending more in the long run. Long blocks at nad auto were about 900$ last time i checked

wont i have to rebuild jdm swaps tho?? like timing belt/pumps/main gaskets and the main seals...

Its always a good idea to replace that stuff but odds are any motor you buy that you know nothing about should have that stuff replaced . Alot of times if you take the cover off and there are marks were somebody has replaced the timing belt and the seals feel soft you will be ok . Either way its a good idea to replace all the stuff on any motor you buy.

It would still be cheaper to buy a jdm long block the timing belt/water pump/ and seals are not that expensive. if your on a tight budget you can get away with not doing the seals if they look in good shape.
