How do I know if I blew m head gasket. Some of the stuff leading up to me thinking this. My car would use all the water up from the radiator and over heat. I wasnt driving the car but my gf said that it started smoking and the car just shut off and wouldnt crank. Now when I try to crank it makes a winding like noise.

Probably finally blew bad enough to lose compression

would a compression test tell me for sure or is there any other way ?

Yes, check compression, If they are all low, usually a blow headgasket is a culprit, but a leakdown and pressure test would make you definate

No , I have yet to see a honda to do this , unless it cracks a oil/water jacket. It could happen but very rare
