This is not a joke

The First of September falls on a thrusday, and this is also the first game for Georgia Tech. Varsity is planning to control parking by only allowing people into the lot that have GT TICKETS IN HAND. GT has and always rents the lots for the games over the season.

I was there tonight and talked to a manager about this.

So, find an alternative. I warned all of you.

So... they will stop every car b4 they park to see their ticket.. that would take time plus the game starts at 7:30 so why would they be at the V eating if they could be watching the game

I thought Varsity parking was only under the deck and th first couple of rows. The rest are pay parking. I didn't know they own all that space, thought it was a separate company.

Perhaps you missed the part where Georgia Tech rents the LOTS for the games. LOTS....its plural.

yea i go to every tech game. lot will be marked of the huge section is for season ticket holders and the top along the wall is pay parking which usually runs around 20$ a game to park. usually some even park under the deck but its not a huge game but it is the season opener. so i wouldnt waste your time driving to the V for a car meet tomorrow. if you want to eat i would say park on the top deck or in front or curbside.

I would advise going to the Wild Bills meet tonight instead of the V. GL to anyone that tries to go to the V tonight.

Just came from my first Wild Bill's meet. It was cool, everyone was nice and there were quite a few cars. Might try to make it to more of those. Nice seeing everyone I knew and meeting new faces.

Its was good to meet you, Mike. I had been to Wild Bills a while back, there were a lot more cars there this time. Not horrible.
