sup guys, im trying to figure out why my new dailys vtec isnt working. around 4500rpm to 5, it pours out black smoke. but i was wondering if someone could help me figure it out. ive looked at all the wiring from the ecu to the soleniod and whatever else and they're all in place. it used to have a vtec controller on it so it had a hack job done to the wiring.

It's prob low on oil? Or u just can't tell when vtec hits usually quite d-series

no actually it had too much oil when igot the car, and yea thats what sucks with d's cuz my b20vtec's vtec kicks ass
