Best bet is to stick in rice to absorb some of the moisture but there is not guarantee that it'll work again.

+1, I've personally used this method and had success. Typically if you've tried to power it up or if you don't leave it in the rice long enough is when it's unrecoverable...

If you've tried to power it up it's done. Maybe now you'll quit taking self-portrait pics in the mirror to post on your Myspace page.
