if you want to pay more for a car than it'll ever be worth, then waste your money trying to import a car from japan. that's all i'm going to say because every time i post the info nobody pays attention to it and tries to find loopholes.

No car will really be worth the time+effort+cost to import.

yes. i've brought over several european cars and the jdm cars are twice as easy. it would be cost prohibative for YOU to bring in a jdm car. go over to seda and look in the classified forum, tophat and shouri are bringing in a few cars. you might be able to go look at them if you ask real nice.

100% correct. he could however pay mike and the other guy to get what ever he bought legalized. somehow i dont think hes gonna be able to afford it either way.

There are many levels of "legal" anymore. Many people feel if it has a title and registration its legal which just isn't the case. Georgia is very lax on vehicle registration and you can "legalize" just about anything you want but its still isn't truly legal. You can register it as a kit car or vin swap it which are the two easiest ways but the least legal methods. If you keep the car in Ga just legalize it as a kit or vin swap it and you shouldn't have any problems. There are ways to legalize the car for all 50 states but I doubt you have the funds to do that, nor is it worthwile for most cars.

Who cares if the car is legal or not..

Just don't get pulled over.

If I had the cash I'd get the GTi-R that Tophat is bringing over.

Although they want a 2k payment upfront...

If I had the cash I would have been all over that.

GTi-R is my freakin dream car.

I would have just moved all my mods over to that car and sold the se-r.

yeah i was gonna pick up that gtir for a daily driver until i saw the thing. $6k is just way too much for that car. personally id rather take the gts4, for about $20k total i could make a gtr4 and that would be friggin hot.
