I been trying to sell some shit, and all I've gotten so far is:

1. people asking for shit I already posted as gone
2. people lowballing the shit out of me then not buying when I agree to the price
3. people saying they'll send me a payment for an item but never do
4. people who tell me they're gonna buy something, agree on a location to meet, then leave me hanging there for over an hour, never call/text back, and don't answer their phone

Is this shit common on IA?
Does anyone actually buy anything or is everyone just bullshitting?

I realize everyone is looking for a gain, but these fuckers are playing games man. I'm cutting my prices deep and they're giving me lowball offers. I accept the offers
and it's the last I hear from them. I think the one that pissed me off most was the no-show yesterday that didn't have the courtesy to at least let me know he wasn't
coming/changed his mind while I waited for his ass to show up from the 478 at 4p sweating my balls off in a parking lot where we agreed to meet with no A/C.

I'm right there with you on people wanting too much for their POS. I just pass by those and figure they don't wanna sell it that bad if they're asking that much.


I'm about to give up and sell the small stuff on e-bay and the big stuff on craigslist. I'm not into playing games.

If they have no reps and are noobs on ia the only way to meet them is by letting them meet you at a gastation by your house and wait at home till they call you and tell you they are if they want your goods that bad they will wait five or ten mins if not fuck it you didn't lose anything but time. unless they are paying your full asking price than that is the only time I would go out of were am at to meet a person as long as is not 3 hours away from where your at it shouldn't be a problem but if they lowballed you and asked you to meet them half way fuck that!!! Just my opinion

It's not a matter of who I know. I work a job that has me out making deliveries to multiple places (20+) per day. I deal with at least 50 people per day plus clients and customers of those places. I drive 100+ miles per day and see how people interact with one another on the road. I've had several different types of customer oriented jobs including automotive, retail, and food service. I see how people act in my children's schools and pretend to care, but when you bring about issues you're having with some of their activities that affect your child's food allergies, asthma, or other medical condition, they want to give you a load of shit and make you jump through hoops to get your child what he needs or fair treatment. I see how people on the forums act, and how people in other social circles (i.e. youtube, facebook, ect.) act and treat one another and have come to the conclusion that deep down inside, the average person truly doesn't give a shit if it's inconvienient for them. I'm not saying there aren't good people out there, I'm saying that they're few and far between. Maybe it's just the Henry/Clayton/Fayette area, but this has been my experience my entire adult life.

Like a clean 1992 four door honda civic dx runs great when warm but like shit when cold, leaks about 2qt of oil a week, cold air (about 72 degrees), 3 colors, small (12" diameter) dent in rear passenger door, with rusted steelies and a hole in the exhaust. Interior has rips, cracks, cigarette burns all over the place, sun damage, smells like ass, and the seatbelts don't work. 258,000 miles with a swapped odometer with only 85k on it (which you learn from a carfax, since the miles are exempt on the title) for $3000 Oh, and did I mention it has a 2 inch drop (from dead shocks) and a (rusted ass) DC Sports header?
( I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I've seen them close to this rediculous. Obviously they don't post all the bad things, that's just what you find when you get there.)
