Over Heating Problem

I just bought an 1993 Integra auto. Well ive noticed sometimes when the car is just sitting at idle it starts to overheat but as soon as i rev it up the temp drops back down to normal temp fast but let it just idle it will start over heating again. any help where to start looking would be great.

My t-stat was stuck half way and it did that in my daily beater. Check for leaks etc, if it has had a cheap waterpump on it, it could be this as well. Fans working?

yes both radiator and ac fan are working.

the coolant was low when i bought it. i topped it off and made sure the air was out of the system. I will check to see if any has leaked out next.

either a leak or you could be burning it. does it smoke?
