I really like the look of the new Mazdas. Yours looks very nice. The 7 is nice, but after having one explode in front of me and spray its engine all over my car I am not a huge fan.

i lost 2.5K on it.. :(
ill NEVER own a non rotary mazda again

Was either a mid 90's Cobra and you were in a speed6 (then it would be semi, halfway, kind of close... possibly)

He didn't know how to drive the Cobra (if it wasn't a mid 90's)

or... this story is made up. Mazda 6's are pigs. They are heavy and underpowered. (no offense to the OP at all, the cars look great. :goodjob: )

Thanks guys. The V6s in the 03-05 6 are known for engine failure due to the precats. I am at 137k with no problems. We have had members on our 6 forum that have had earlier engine death than 95k. I guess that is what happens when you shoehorn an engine that was not really intended to go in there in the 1st place. I am thinking of replacing it with the 2011 Fusion Sport 3.5l when the time comes.

Been trying to make it out to some of the V-meets with the FC. Had it at Import Alliance here in Atl. Just kinda hard getting out more often with the boys & the wife working 2 jobs.

Man I give you major props for raising 3 kids & tackling two project cars. I have two kids myself & it's a struggle to have such an expensive hobby, but my wife isn't so understanding, lol.

Both cars look great. My good friend had a T2 the same color. The few times I drove it were very pleasing. Keep up the good work.

Update!!!

Motor in the FC took a crap late last year. Have one here @ work that will be gone through, ports cleaned up more, all new seals & gaskets. Have acquired a Garrett GT4202, Haltech E6X & a bunch more goodies. Hopefully she will be out on the road soon.

I hear you. When the turbo gets here I need to order a new manifold & get Rob to do a 4" downpipe for me. When the car is up & running, I am going to fly Steve Kan in to do the tuning. He recently tuned my friend's 3 rotor FC with great success & is being flown down to retune it with the new Borg Warner 88mm turbo & nitrous setup on the 9th.
