Who is waiting for Battlefield 3?
I personally dont care about MW3. I dont get enjoyment out of COD anymore.
I play BFBC2 all the time. All I do is recon with the very very long shots. Hopefully BF3 will have the same long maps so I can do my sniping.
Even if multiplayer lets me down hopefully the campaign will be badass like it looks in the trailers.

What are yalls opinions?
How many of yall play BC2? And what kit do you run?

I love BC2 and cant wait for BF3. Not a COD fan, its okay. I play on xbox thinking about getting BF3 for pc tho, not sure. I played the Alpha trial and loved it.

Open beta on all systems. Try it out,quite glitchy but the overall gameplay is great imo.

Found it. I went to download it and turns out my xbox is full with only two games on it. Fucking piece of shit 4gb xbox. Guess I'm going to sleep.

Yeah it's horrible. I have black ops and forza on it, and it's got less than a gb left in space, and that's reserved for the xbox operations. Guess I have to round up $50 and get the 250gb hard drive for it.

Naw it's cool, but you just can't see as well.. Plus no respond cam, so it makes it harder.. BF3 needs lots of work, i was shot threw a bridge, rock, etc...
Just play it and you will see for yourself... I'm not gonna hate on the beta, but I hope the game is much better!!

I play both BFBC2 and MW2 (don't care for black ops). As to which one I put in depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Both games have their strengths and weaknesses IMO.

I wish I could somehow combine the games into one. Personally, I prefer the mechanics of the MW series. It just has slicker controls IMO. BFBC2 definitely has the edge in just about every other department though. I LOVE the larger maps. I've never been a fan on tiny maps in any shooter (which seem to be the favorites of the MW crowd). And don't even get me started on the Black Ops maps. BFBC2 just has a more mature fan base as well, which is a big plus. Hearing kids that even hit puberty dropping the f-bomb and racial slurs left and right is aggravating as hell (don't think I'd make it without the mute function).

All that being said, I plan on getting both new games. I'm looking more forward for BF3 though :)

That is with no kill earning streaks sir, thats runnin uav, counter, and blackbird :) and i play on ps3 and xbox and in my experience the quality of players on ps3 is way better on average, no 12 year olds cussing you out or jackass campers...i know its hard to believe but its very true :yes: plus it helps that i play with my deathsquad...81 straight win :ninja: spanning TDM, HQ, Domination, and Demolition lol

My problem with the Black Ops maps (the original, I didn't download the new because I stopped playing), wasn't their size, it was the layout. It seems like the developers were so concerned with making them balanced and anti-camping, that they just turned into mazes. I am not a camper (unless I'm doing recon on BFBC2 :) ). I move around maps constantly, but I play strategically and, IMO, smart. I know I'm MAYBE a slightly above average "fast-twitch" player, but I put myself in situations where I don't generally have to be the greatest and still manage a very respectable K/D ratio (I primarily play TDM on MW2). With Black Ops maps I find that it doesn't matter how "smart" I play, I'm going to end up getting shot in the back. Every room/area has 3+ entrances and it feels like any advantage I used to have with strategy is nullified because someone is going to be sprinting randomly through the map and by chance see me before I see them.

There are a couple of maps on Black ops that i enjoy, but for the most part they fall into what I describe above. IMHO.

I went to midnight release in Acworth. There were a ton of people at gamestop, line from one end of the strip mall to the other. Game is great, I am not that great at it....used to run and gun, but I'm getting there.
