There was no need for the FMIC with the low boost I was running off a little SC-trim. It wasn't doing anything but blocking airflow to the radiator.

Air wasn't hot enough to cause an issue with the stock heads. They aren't getting hot spots or anything like that.

Perhaps you are filling his bottle for free? Perhaps use of some tools? That's the only things that came to my mind.

I hear people's friends always say that they have their back, but in racing like this, there isn't a lot of opportunity to provide any support.
I'm not being derogatory or inflamatory, just asking what it means to a shop/you when you say you've got their back.

I change shift linkages quite often but the tranny works fine lol. I think people mess there cable shift linkage up then mess up the trannys instead of understanding that they stretch and frey so when you start having problems replace the damn linkage before you destroy your tranny lol.

I have one guy that everytime he messes his shift linkage up i have to replace the tranny to he destroys all of it at once lol.

Boosted347- no hustle here everyone knows my car is a 100% street car an they were atleast 15 people at the dyno when it put down 4xx on the max N20 shot my car would hold because mine has high miles from being a daily driver for 10 years and needed to have a really really safe tune put on it. it's just a fun light car to play with u don't need million hp to win races just a little and drive great :goodjob: but these cars even a low mile ls1 can only handle 500 hp max with stock clutch, fuel system, an bottom end!!!!

I would love to have more power but spending 10-20 grand to reach 600+ range is crazy ! Maybe christmas Santa will bring a new longblock :crazy:

yea, i know what you mean. i miss when the kf was actually fun. there were 25+ people who were always up for some fun runs, win or lose all that happened was some people had a little shit talk and a fun night. I remember when any given weekend you would have meets with 50+ people and all the faster guys on ia would meet up like you, me, brad lankhoss(bluec6z), marshell(orange c6), ronnie(c6z), charles(blue evo) matt(yellow z06, white firehawk) jon(red gto, white camaro) justin(silver z06) rick( cobra), dave(280z) chris(tt white camaro) clark(supra),brandon(mustang gt),bstone(vette, s2k) and so many more. we had tons of races every weekend to talk about. 90% of the guys on here now couldnt touch any of the cars just listed

Why wouldn't it hold 150? We had no trouble with 2 75 shots on a 02 Z06 with nothing but ported heads and a cam. It had 440rwhp without the spray. It just got sold and shipped out though.

Mine is not a zo6.. It has a ls1 not ls6 block and has old style 98-99 853 heads which are dog shit !!! The springs are week at that power level and would break, also the clutch slipped, an I was running outta fuel without upgrading the pump which that z06 prob had, so we did less power totally safe till my new set up is built :goodjob:

I hope to get a little more power of my spray on just motor with the new set up, then hit the kit :goodjob:

It's still at the same power, just runs a lot cooler now, which should help it be more consistent. Also, has the new wheels/brakes setup.
Everything is fresh and new though - waterpump, brakes, rebuilt the blower, removed the FMIC, etc.

i know why you did it but with your skills you could have a really clean car and the power it can make weight isnt really the problem. i would have never cut anything till i maxed out the car were it was just me. by the way stretch has a nice hatch with a one piece front end if thats what you want. Also go h2b and screw thr shifting problems or keep dumping money into into that piece h tranny lol. i have replaced the shift linkage four times in the si and i hardly ever race it thats why i went h2b tired of dealing with that cable crap.
