my guess (knowing nothing about autox) would be that it's "Points round 6" as in, points race number six or something like that.

Im pretty sure its for the atlanta autox. I believe every event is called point 1,2...etc so on. I really want a white ek hatch one day.

either thats a pretty hard turn in pic 2 or you've got a good bit of body roll. I know nothing of autox though, so that may be a normal amount, lol.

In that photo:
Progress CS-II 350/350
22mm Progress Anti-Roll bar
Function7 Subframe brace
Volk CE28N 16x7 +33
205/45/16 Nitto NeoGen
Camber is 1.6 in the front, 1.4 in the rear
Total Toe is .04 out in the front, .05 in in the rear.
Stock y7 engine/Ex transmission
Not sure of the exact height, but the Driver's side is ~.25" higher than the passenger so the car is perfectly level when I'm solo. Thanks for that tip, over the phone with your support staff.

Since then:
Added 22mm Ex Civic Front Swaybar with ES endlinks
Just put on 205/45/16 S. Drives yesterday

Can't wait to try the S. Drives.

The suspension is a bit soft, good for learning. Will stiffen up next year.

And yes, points 6 is the 6th event of the year.

Some of us can't/don't want to afford the thought of having their only car as a total financial writeoff in case something happens. Autocross is safe, and one of the most valuable types of driving for any level of racer. An experienced Autocrosser will be good at road racing, and experience road racer will be mediocre at autocross. Don't you ever read SCCA Magazine?

When I get a second car I'll be happy to join you at Road Atlanta. I'm enjoying the hell out of autocross atm though.

I've been admiring this car for a while around town. You work at WLBB 1330AM? I've seen the car around there alot.

Indeed, I'm the morning news guy. Report on local events, and I've even got a political talk show a few times a week.

Thanks for the nice thoughts. I'm pretty oblivious to local car scenes. Not that I try to, I just don't pay attention and usually don't have time.

Working two jobs, going to college, keeps me busy.

hit a nerve? i was just joking around...

yes - i've done both autox when i lived in chicago, and track, i enjoy the track time much more. no, i don't have stacks of cash...

and i'm not a fan of SCCA, so i read GRM as i'm a NASA member...

Understandable. I thought it was a bit off the wall and unwarranted. :goodjob:

I haven't been doing this long enough to know any difference between either organization, I've primarily only dealt with my local guys and they're great here in Atlanta. Believe me, when I get a daily driver that's paid for, Like a TSX or something with 4 doors, I'll be heading to every track day I can at Road Atlanta.
