Can someone help me decide which internet company to choose?

I was wondering if anyone can help me choose. I have no knowledge in how internet works nor which company is better providing the internet.

Like everyone out there, i want the best bang for the buck for high speed internet. One that will not slow down if another user is surfing on the net.

I am getting sick and tired of my roommates dl'ing porn or whatever the fuck there doing to slow down the internet. So this motivated me to move out and just rent a apt out.

I have everything set except for internet...I love playing video games ( starcraft mostly) and nothing is more frustrating than lagging while playing or being disconnected.

but back to the internet. Which company do you guys recommend? The most i'll spend...ehhh 100$/month?? i have no clue but that seems to get something decent.:thinking:

If you willing to spend that much and want fast as fuck surfing go with Comcast but if you want good reliable hassle free i like my Windstream. We have 3 computers here and its never slowed ours down.

I have Windstream as well. It does great for playing xbox360. I never have lag issues while playing. Internet isn't bad at all either.
