Been talking to my holmes Tony (Grimm Reeper) for months now about buffing my car. Finally got around to driving out to East Jesus, Nowhere (aka. Jonesboro) to give my 15 year old paint a little longer to live.

Onto the pics!

BEFORE
It's bad news - I know.

This picture doesn't accurately describe the awfulness of my trunk. I think the previous owner used to set luggage on it or something.

A slightly worse angle lol.

Front end is just about too far gone...

Alright, let's get crackin'

AWW SKEET SKEET
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4243.jpg

Well then there was like 3 rounds of high-speed buffing with misc. ninja compounds and then we pulled it out for a couple no-wax pics...

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4248.jpg

That looks quite a bit better
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4249.jpg

Not a good shot for flake, but she's-a-smooth

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4251.jpg

Then he did some waxin' and we had just enough time for some finished pics

AFTER

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4262.jpg

the trunk looks 102098x better...

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4274.jpg

And he did a little touch-up painting on the lower part of the 1/4. that scratch was all nasty and rusty... looks so much better
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4275.jpg

Well hello, flake! Long-time no see.
http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4277.jpg

BAM!

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg194/jmoo711/DSC_4267.jpg

Car looks so much better. Pictures don't quite do the improvement justice. It's amazing what someone that knows what they're doing can do for you paint. I've been hand-waxing my car for the last couple years, but it just doesn't hold a candle. Makes me want to learn how to use the high-speed... or keep 'letting' my friends 'practice' on my car.

Thanks, Tony. Can't say enough about your skillz on keepin' my car on point.

I'm not real sure on the difference, but I'm going to guess and say rotary on buff, DA on wax application.
