I have done all work myself. 4 year BMW master technician. I have a carfax on engine with original miles. I have all receipts from acura dealership i purchased parts from. Here are some pix of rebuild.

I dont have any more pix of the rebuild. Sorry. But what i did was have the short block with type r crank, p73 pistons and connecting rods, (the real deal) and completely dissasembled it down and replaced the lot. Main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers. new front and rear main seals and oil pan gasket. new type r water pump, type r oil pump. tbelt and tensioner. I also had to replace the crankshaft sensor. New headgasket with new head bolts all from acura and every single gasket i could see i replaced because i was tired of my b16 that leaked oil like crazy. I kept receipts of all gaskets i replaced for backup. New radiator hoses. I assembled the engine myself (even performed the rod bolt stretch method) and used plastigauge to measure con rod and main bearing oil clearances. All within spec. Let me know if this helps.

Car has not been to the dyno so not sure how much power it makes. Its running on a street tune now with no problems. My goal was 200whp but its probably only making what a stock itr makes since i dont have my rmf header installed.

trade u for my bone stock 93 eg hatch wit front lip duck bill fresh white paint job,coil overs brand new head gasket and timing belt done just last week o and cold ac and ps just gotta put the belts back on and i just got done doing a auto to Manuel swap wit a brand new clutch,fly wheel and slave and master cylinder and just put in a new thermastat ....so cant spell it but anyways great car if interested give me a call at 256 706 0567
