Ok so ive been playing A LOT lately and about a month or so ago i picked up some Air Jordans. Jordan CMFT Viz 13 to be exact. So apparently i find out that Air Jordan doesnt really make "basketball" shoes anymore as they arent really designed for the player in mind. More fashion than anything.

I have been having CHRONIC knee pain and shin splints over the last month that never seems to get better. Im a small forward so i generally post up or slash the paint and just over the course of a month ive been getting a lot of pain in my knees.

Funny thing is i used to play in DC skate shoes for like 2-3 months and never had the problems i do now, but i think it may be from the fact im playing harder now than i did before.

Im looking at the Hyperdunk 2010s, as i want some ankle support. I tried the Adizero Crazy Lights, they are awesome but i question the support when they are so light.

Also looking at the lebrons PS 8

kobes 4 or 6 are my fave, nike 2k4, 2k5, any nike "hyper" series are great too. lebrons are heavy. adizero wear/tear easy from what i read in reviews. jordans mainly for looks... good luck with knee pains cause i havent found a cure for it yet other than surgery! also where do you play at? indoor?outdoor?

QD anytime. I'm pretty good.

I play at LA fitness off johnsons ferry and I usually play pick up games in peachtree city at a community center on my lunch break. Pretty good competition down there. Gets heated lol.

Well I tried out the adizero crazy lights again today and frankly awesome shoe. Really weird feeling being so light. Almost feel "cheap". I was surprised the support they offered being such thin material.

But I ended up getting the lebron PS 8's. Little expensive but after I tried them on I was sold. They are hyperfuse, air max, and breathable mesh. Surprisingly light and felt much more "stable". They also felt wider and more comfortable.

I'm not a guard so "light" doesn't matter as much to me. I'm a small forward because of height that plays like a power forward. So I'll give up weight for stability and support.

Anyone wanna play on a weekend let me know

mainly indoor but I can play outdoor too.

What kind of knee pain do you get? Mine is front of knee cap, below my knee cap. Almost like a tendon pain but more soreness than a tear.

I'm thinking it's really bad shin splints up to my knee , bone spur maybe? Or arthritis.

But it's just my right knee which is weird. Have not done anything where I said "OH MY KNEE". Just seems to get sore after I play.

Sounds similar to mine. Any diagnosis? Did you do anything specifically to injure it or is it just soreness that comes later.

I can really feel mine when I try to jump , pushing off with my feet is what causes the most pain.

Nah, just regular dunks. I believe they were originally basketball shoes, I just tie them up really well

i played varsity in high school. However i TOWERED over everyone from 12-16, then everyone caught up and passed me LOL by the time i got to high school they wanted to make me a point guard when all i had ever played was center

I play at GSU every saturday. Great facility

Phongie any meds youre taking to help with the tendonitis? Or is your only option surgery?
