XBox 360 crashes

There have been reports of XBox 360 crashes everywhere.



So, the Xbox 360’s been available for, what, 15 minutes, and already the crash reports are streaming in. According to postings on Xbox-Scene and other fan sites, some early adopters are discovering that waiting on line in the cold for two years to snag a box was the least of their problems: the game consoles are allegedly crashing during a variety of games and reporting a range of error messages. There’s even a pic up on flickr that purports to show the 360 crashing as the Microsoft logo loads. Sure, it’s too early to declare this a pandemic and start hurling Xboxes out of windows, but it still has us wondering: How’s your 360 holding up?

P.S. And yes, our Xbox has crashed a bit too — though nothing too terrible.

^^^^^You are both idiots....jsut thought you guys should know that! Since PS3 will do better becuase ti will be another year before they come out, and they have 1 yar to test, and see all the problems that Xbox had so they know what to chekc up on in there systems and what to make sure works 100%. This happened to PS when it first came out years ago then Xbox followed it with no problems. So stop being hyprocrites and realize that this was going to happen for the newest of the next generation.

P.s. HINCE why most of us said we wont get it until afer there first few shipments, and problems are fixed!

Just like when a new model car comes out, they can test it all they want but the first year ALWAYS has issues, this is the same thing. Sony will take this time to make sure these glitches dont happen but its because they have the extra time to do it. By saying ps3 has a year to work out the details your saying that their purposely delaying it for this reason. Not true. Their giving it the same development time that they promised when they first announced it. Their not pushing it back to "fix anything". it was microsoft who pushed their release date up to hurry it.

Where in my post did you see me say Sony pushed thier date back? I am quite aware of what the release date is and has been, Dont assume. I was saying Sony still has plenty of time to get thier stuff perfected before its released.

Last I have heard programmers are having problems writing games for the PS3.... and I haven't heard of any crashing... like the ones in stores not having problems... and which boxes crashed..... the gold series or the cheapo series...

Sony's online sux anyway because you have to pay by the game to use it. I was a fan of Sony for two reasons. The amount of games and the feel of the controller (I didnt like feel ofthe original Xbox controller. I think the 360 controller is smaller). Now I am hooked on PC games so my son plays my PS2, I havent played it in months.

That is weird, i read on gameinformer that the publishers praised the ease of writing games for PS3, and there are already almost a hundred games in the process right now of being done, as well as GT5 already completed

PS2's had the worst dvd dries ever made. 2 of mine broke.. And im sure everyone has had a ps2 were it stopped reading blue discs. IT happens..cutting edge, Sony's online is still years behind. ITs not even established yet... it took xbox live about a year to get setteld in. Plus you never know how your product is gonna act until it hits the market and you got millions of ppl playing with it.. soo bugs are ineveidable... I cant wait to see waht the ps3 is gonna be put out specs wise, i hope it is better than the 360 tho...in the end we all win..:) i just hope it doesnt cost more.
