Ok dual halo headlights, right headlight....somehow the wire got caught in p/s pully an severed a cpl wires...fixed but still not workin

Bulbs are ok plug'd into left came on fine

So coming out of headlight there are 4 wires (this is just halo wires everything else is good) that go into a sealed black box which converts into 2 wires, im sure something is fry'd in box.....

So my question is...if i bypass this box an wire them straight am i at any risk of it burn'n up wires or lights ive read that they just need 12v, just not sure what this black box does weather its just a "pretty" connector or if is converting voltage....

Im sure its a power converter so that the halos don't pull a full 12v at all times when headlights are on. If you try wiring them to bypass the box then they may get to hot at some point and melt or fire.

Idk about radio shack but I'm sure they may on eBay. Or try Frys electronics or any electronic store

Its really just a chance deal i mean you can try it and if it effects them just wire it back up.
