I'm REALLY worried that IA has gotten me spoiled.
Dog it if you want, but we're pretty lucky.
I mean, I just rode thru a "meet", in Tampa, and there were some sweet rides, but not many that REALLY excited me, like the cars in Atlanta and at the IA Varsity meets.
Sure, there was an entire row (about 25-30) of Evo's and a few "stand outs", but I'm a Honda guy and there were very few H/A badges that really stood out.
Yes, there was an R33 Skyline and a few sweet S2000's, VW's and IS's, but for every car that caught my attention, I could think of 5-10 around Atlanta that were sweeter!
For me, the REAL STANDOUT of the whole meet was a...wait for it...Nissan Sunny GTi-R hatch!
OMG, it was sweet! One of my ALL TIME FAV hatches and the first I've ever seen in real life!
BUT, it was parked way in the back of the lot, away from the rest of the "meet" like the owner didn't want anybody to see it.
I just drove straight to it, parked in front of it and took in the details! LOL!
The thing is, I'm planning to move to Tampa, within the next year, and I just don't know what I'm gonna do without IA and the Varsity meets.
If ANY OF YOU have "contacts" in the Tampa area, HOOK ME UP!
I'm not looking for anything more than LIKE MINDED people to hang with and network with.
No favors, or anything like that.
Just cool people that are into Imports and part of the "scene" that I've been into for over 25 years (Yes, over 25 years. I'm 40).
I mean, my friends from home can come and visit, but who am I gonna ride with to meets?
Who am I gonna "wrench" with, on the week ends?
Give me some "feedback" if you know ANYTHING about the Tampa area!
