Its a KIA :D

Well since the last time I posted up a pic of the Koup, I've added two things. Picked up some 1992 Volk GT-P wheels and added a spoiler. Next thing to do is lower it about an inch and a half. I should have it lowered by the end of the week. Props to my friend Wesley for the pictures.

OK. I will say this, as far as looks go for a Kia, this thing rivals the TC. As far as wheel color is concerned, this is your car and it's great to be different and know that people don't like it, but when they see it in person they are still going to jock...lol.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I like the wheels. Everyone has different opinions though. As far as KIA copying civics it is not true. The only thing similar are the headlights, Everything else is way different.

The entire body resembles the 2009 Civic. Not a straight copy, but a great resemblance. I don't agree with the "it's still a Kia" bit, though. Later, QD.

thats a very stupid comment to make. and im tired of hearing it. what makes any car manufacture different? some people will never own anything that is not american made (gm,ford..etc) and others will not own american car. only imports (honda,toyota, hyundai)

what makes honda better than toyota or toyota better than honda. whats makes GM better than ford or ford better than gm. nissan > dodge or dodge > nissan. it can mix anyway you want. people that drive zo6 can say its just a honda all day long untill they are blue in the face. i know cause i use to own one...untill they get beat by one then its all excuses. all car companies do different things or go certain routes. mainly to please the customer demands on what they are looking for a car.

so to say "its just a XXXXXX" is just another stupid comment.

, but you can't get mad for people saying "it's just a XXXXXX", bcuz honestly what would you rather own a Porsche or a Kia, I mean they're both just crappy 4 cyclinders :gay:...but one has a more fascinating appeal does it not, b/c of the history of the companies and the quality of the parts, what makes some companies better than others is the quality of their work, while other distinguish themselves with their target market, but in the end somebody has gotta stand on that third podium and right now it's Kia. /rant. Props to the OP for being the underdog, i really like the car, just disagree with the wheel color. :goodjob:

My wife in now driving the second KIA in our home alone. I like the contrasting colors of the black body and teal wheels. Its not for everyone, as you can see opinions vary. All that matters is that YOU like your ride. Who really gives a shit what others think?

BTW the Forte is doing an excellent job in the Continential Sports Car Racing series. I'd take one over a Civic any day and I'd rather rip my dick off than drive a new tC.
