Everything original, 280,000 miles, starts right up, runs good, no leaks, needs a wash. First thing to do is to adjust valves then check the timing chain guides, kinda ticking. I hope it's nothing major, but motor could use a rebuild soon. One rust hole under the battery tray, sucks.

Will get the motor running smooth, use the truck to make Home Depot runs then lower it later.

Thanks. My main goal is to get the engine to quite down from knocking, maybe valves then work on the 3 quarter size rust holes in the cabinet floor and the upper driver side firewall. It leaks when it rains, sucks. I'll probably end up lowered with some engine mods.

i had a 88 w/ that many miles before i got rid of it..only thing it needed was a timing chain tensioner...other than that..truck was dumb reliable. cant wait to see what you wanna do w/ this.

This is how the truck runs now, loud. I haven't had time to open the valve to check timing chain or check the valves, but I will this weekend.

I would sell it to you for cheap if United States Postal didn't lose one, paid about 20.00 for one. Shipping was more than the badge itself.

I saw your wtb thread. Are you still looking for the 20r? If so I have a fully built 22r long block from Lc engineering with 17k miles if you're interested for 2000! These go for 3300.
