20b??

recently aquired a 20b, what would it take to swap that into my rx8? im trying to decide if it would be worth it.

how much would i be looking spend? if its more than 4grand ill just buy the supercharger kit and deal. fun car i just want a little more acceleration.
edit* just saw someone spent 20000!!! on one. anyonther suggestions to get some pick up out of the rex?

Lighter flywheel best bang for the buck. But I hear the normal bolt ons intake, header, exhaust and retune make a decent gain. These are no where near what a sc or turbo would give you.

LOL yeah it's going to be waaaaaay more than 4 grand

If you made all the parts your self and installed it your self it would still would cost more than 4k.

20b swaps cost like 10k-20k. It's a lot of work to swap one into anything :(

and 20b motors & parts are becoming more and more rare.

A 20b is a big step up over your current stocker, but it will cost to do it, as everything has to change including computer, fuel system, etc. It will not be emissions compliant either. Keep your RX8 as it is, and get an old RX7 to drop the motor in. I would love to do a 20B in a light FB chassis.
