Do you guys use them? Or do you think it's just a waste of money?

I've been messing with a few here and there, but not sure if they're actually worth it.

From what I've read/seen the performance boosters don't work and if anything reduce power, but how 'bout those cleaners?

Most studies have shown that they are bullshit. Some may add a little but its nothing significant. You might as well save your money and buy better gas.

As for cleaners...yea they work. If you got the right stuff.

Cleaners work great but additives are just BS!

I've been using the STP cleaners every now and then, but yeah the straight additives have been proven to even reduce power.

I also hear those octane boosters can fuck up your plugs.

Sometimes its not that the additive is bad but more of its not enough to change in a positive way on what the car is tuned on from the factory/modded.

The only cleaner I really use is the Lucas brand.

I've used Stabil ethanol treatment, it's for marine engines and got 3 more MPG consistently, as far as cleaners go I use sea foam in the gas. I've never tried octane booster.
