This 2001 gsr ecu is different size and plug from the 98-99 it is option different. 2001 ecu is smaller then the 98-99 don't know about the 2000 model ecu. But if u have a 2001 gsr ecu p72-A05 8U. I just bought a 99 integra gsr ecu part number p72-a04 U8 but it didn't fit for my 2001 gsr. lmk thanks

So what is my option here to get it to work. Would a ecu with no immobilize work for the 2001.

I'm not sure how that works, but I do know that the keys on 2000-2001 have chips/immoblizer.

Just check with Acura dealer service department, they told me that I have to find the same year model ecu then bring the car to them they will reprogram the ecu to work with for the car. Which is 125 buck. anybody got a p72-A05 8u
