first race we launched on moseley and then started to spin, he went by us, then we hooked and we caught up right next to him then the race was over................ second race we put 1 1/2 cars on him then started spinning, then fuccin moseley passed us and put bout 3 cars on us, but then the car hooked and we passed him back...... so i guess we won, but it was a very very good race.... id race moseley again any day... nice quick easy and simple.. then we laugh about it at the end... good race again moseley

Yeah it's not the best camera car for filming from behind but if it could keep up with K swap hatches it would make less sense to have the rsx LOL.

Too bad the Go Pro wasn't on...I need to figure out why it did that becasue it would have had some great footage even though the sound quality on those things aren't the best.

whoa whoa whoa... last we agreed before we left the shop was a 45 roll, but looking at our tires u knew u had the advantage from a slower start... we agreed to any terms didnt we..... u slowed all the way down and stopped and then went from a dig, but we raced anyways without any excuses
we even raced u the second time with no clip in the shifter cable ( due to it falling out in the middle of the first race) and we still didnt make an excuse.........

I thought bobby had the red EF ready (to get busted by my K lol)... so I just put on the radials and headed down there.

I'm not making any excuses for them, but I did hear him trying to down shift and the tranny was just grinding.. Also I don't think Morris heard what stretch said about the roll at 45 since its was only us and Matt right there.. Could have been why he stopped after getting back into 1st.. Just my 2 cents!!

To be honest I don't think the EF has a chance even with a new tranny, I know the EG to well so I'll bring it back out this weekend if you want to go from say a 20 roll to 120, OR a Dig!! I worked on the bubble all day, decided to paint the bay again since the paint was chipping off, thats done, just need to install the motor back and let Morris brush up the tune on the dyno.. I'll take a crack at the RSX to, but no 40-50 rolls!!

As much as I'll admit it made me laugh that a mod is trolling you like that. The thing about it is that it's BS. In EVERY other forum they don't just delete a thread. They show their face and they lock the thread and post why. That way everyone is clear on what to do and not do. On friday nights they run the track backwards with a arm dropp. They call it street night or something like that. Even then on slicks i got no traction because of no water box and no tracl preppe. My point is even on slicks i will do nothing but spin on the streets. More weight equals more spining of the line because you have to get that weight moving . Of course all the touqe of the h22 doesnt help either. i would be willing to do something like this at the track given i have a week or so to prep . I have to figure out how get traction . The simple fact is this car is nothing like the car that was running low 12s . It should be faster no doubt but thats means nothing . We called all agree to go to the track and put up 20 dollars a piece winner take all (all motor). Then that guy could have a bounty on his head so you would have to beat him to get the bounty . If he wins you owe him 20 . If you win you get the bounty (respect) and get to make money off the next person you run . Anyway something like that . When the bounty is established he (comsider him the king) can race on the street track or werever he choses. Im sure we could make something like this work .All side beats would be welcome including lets say me beating bobby against mosely and the midnight hatch running shit like that . Id love to do a 40 role with mosely or the midnight hatch just to see how hard the grocery getter runs making the power its making against others. Its hard to tell running against alot lighter chasis at the track. HP means nothing, this is what proves most people on here dont know how to STREET RACE.

You guys all bench race and internet race. At a track when everything is controlled and you can run whatever tire you want, its different. On the street there are many more variables.

Street Races almost NEVER are a 1/4 mile if they are a dig, and roll races obviously dont happen at the track.

ON the street there are 2 factors that matter the most, Tires and gearing. The rest is bullshit. Yes if you bring your 500whp Turbo Honda out on street tires i would run it ALL DAY long with a 200whp car. ALL DAY LONG and id prob win. Dig race would be so easy to win, roll race not so much, but for about 5-6 seconds on the video id pull you while you sat and spun in place.

Why do you think mosely with a 2.0l and SIGNIFICANTLY less power is winning or putting up a good fight? Its because he doesnt have traction issues, and he has the gearing. plain and simple.

So yes, you better bring tires if you are making "big power" cause if you dont , you are worthless as a street racer. You better have the gearing to win whatever race you choose as well.

Bottom line is the "more hp" cars on this forum are getting consistently beat by lower hp cars for a reason. From nyteryder to mosely

So... I got a call yesterday from a buddy who works at an auto parts store in Woodstock.

A customer was in there talking about this epic race that happened last weekend. Two K'ed hatches, one with a 100 shot, but this car from NY is all motor with 350whp and took down the car with the 100 shot. The guy claimed he was there and saw it all go down... and that the loser was out $1000.

Anyone know who this clown is? I think he drives a black EK... I want to set it straight that 3 guys spent a minute or two going over my engine bay looking for spray after the race and my car sits exactly like it did for showdown, no nitrous hardware anywhere in the car.
