My new exhaust setup is louder than I'm used to, so I'm having trouble making sure I don't go over redline when I'm having fun or go over 4,800rpm when I'm just casually cruising.

I'm quickly becoming limited on funds so I need a reasonable option. I can only come up with 3.

1. I still have the GSR cluster and I found these threads on swapping the cluster:

Looks like a lot of work to do on a daily driver when you need to have it wired up right in one day.

2. I thought about an Si/Ex cluster, but they redline at 7k (maybe I'm just picky?). Also can't seem to find one under $100. Thought maybe I could find someone on here that would trade me an Si cluster for my GSR one though...

3. Last option I thought about is an aftermarket tach, but I don't want to look tacky with a huge freakin tach on my dash and most of the good ones seem to be in the price range of an Si cluster. Anyone have any suggestions?

Si clusters are worth a lot more then gsr clusters. So i doubt anyone is going to trade you. Your best bet is to buy a automatic on off ebay they go for 100$ and under. and yes if you dont want to spend money yeah you cant be picky.

Taking another look through option 1, it actually doesn't look like it's gonna be that hard.. just didn't like the idea of chopping up my Integra cluster. I guess I should be thanking you since you were the only one who actually took the time to respond to my question.
