a friend of mine has a 91 b2200 thats burning oil like crazy and he wants to rebuild it, the idea of rebuilding was just brought up a few days ago and since then we've thought of either boring out the cylinders or boosting it after the build. just wondering if anyone of here has any experience with (or have built) these engines before and what your opinion is about boring it or boosting it. also, does anyone know a good machine shop around the canton area?

Fresh bore with name brand parts: Pistons, maybe even some good rods, clevite (mahle)bearings or acl.. Head job, mild port, nothing crazy.. Simple but done right the first time.. Look up engine parts center for parts, or look online for best price..

we're gonna have the head resurfaced, and the block decked and honed.. so we figured while we're getting that done we could bore the cylinders a little bigger and get bigger pistons. the rods will be shot peened..not sure about the pistons yet..we're not trying to build a track motor, just wanting a liiitle bit more power out of the rebuild
