Clipping Point and Dirty South Drift presents "Drift Till The Groupies Drop Their Bras!" a Open Drift Practice event on May 29th. Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Ga off exit 104. Last event went really good and hoping to have everyone back out especially those who couldn't make it out last time. Cordele is a great place for beginning drifters to start or for the veterans who are experts at all track levels. The track is real forgiving and promising. A LOT of seat time. We will have someone out there that can change tires out for $5 a set (set=2).
Gates open at 9am-7pm. $35-single runs, $45-Tandem, $5-Spectators....Car show entry is FREE!. Trophies for best in import and best in domestic.
Will have a Tech Inspection on all drivers vehicles. For registration pm me Year/Make/Model/Name/ ect. ect.
Helmets required
Urging the groupies to DROP their Bras! No special awards or trophies if you do. Probably just snarling looks from mens wives and girlfriends.

Clipping Point RULES and SCHEDULE (Please read carefully and suggestions greatly appreciated.)
1) When you come in the gates please find Uriah Cox or Jose Lopez Cruz wearing a staff shirt and pay your fees then go directly to tech inspection
2) All vehicles must pass tech inspection before drifting.
3) All drivers and passengers must wear a helmet before drifting.
4) Everybody signs waivers and/or registration forms.
5) If you are planning to drift or ride with someone who is drifting you must wear pants.
6) No spectators allowed in the pits or to park in pits without permission from Clipping Point or DSD event staff.
7) No horseplay. (you will be asked to leave)
8) If working under a vehicle it must have a jack stand for safety.
9) Drivers must wear pants.
10) N0 driving over 15mph in the pit area. ( you will be asked to leave if rule is violated)
11) Wait for a flagman to give you the flag drop to make a run.
12) You get (2) spins. After the 2nd spin you will exit the course and get in the back of the line.
