1. I made it to the alabama/florida border outside of brewton, alabama on one tank in my dads 04 cobra....can't call that poor gas mileage.

I sit, laughing on my front pourch. He then gets out on the phone then ten minutes later, another dumbass kid comes up in another Honda. They ride off spinning tires. Eventually kids dad comes to pull the car out of the ditch with a nice new truck. And I get to sit back, enjoy my cold beverage while dad yells at son entire time of loading the POS Honda onto the trailor.

The speed limit on the interstate I travel is 65, I go 80. I have no problem going 80 all the way to work. My "slow" civic gets to 80 just like your rustang, maybe not as quick but do I really care? Nope. At the end of the day I can go further than you on a tank, so fill up your car and I'll fill up mine and we will see who is sitting on the side of the road first. Actually, even if you take a fairly light foxbody and put a full MM grip package on it, if you get to a really tight, twisty track, most of the Lotus cars will have the advantage still. They are not only handle extremely well, they are also light, which helps with corner speeds. Small tracks can neutralize the power advantage of the V8, with its heavy front end. The Lotus handling can make it difficult to pass if it has a good driver. On larger tracks though, you can take advantage of the long straights with a V8.
