View Full Version : How often do you go to the doctor?

Or do you? I'm getting old and shit so I thought I'd go find one and get a regular check up. The last time I saw a doctor was back in 1986, I believe. Figured I was due.

Guess it will be another 25 years til I go back seeing as how I don't like getting finger fucked.

Until I get the phone call next week, I'm healthy, though. Later, QD.

Not as often as I should. I don't like doctors and that comes from dealing with them on a daily basis.

I hope whatever issue you have with your kidneys works itself out and doesn't become kidney failure. Dialysis is no joke.

I try to never go. I had to go monthly when I was 14 and had severe stomach problems, got all that squared away by 16 and didn't go again until January when I had to have my gallbladder removed.

I went a couple years ago when I had mono. He told me to strip, touched my balls, and charged me $175 for the whole experience. Told me there was nothing he could do.

I don't like doctors.

For the last maybe 2 years I have gone every three months, but am deciding not to go after a cold I had was said to be just allergies and that they can't do anything about these annoying tonsil stones. the three months is just to guarantee him income for telling me to lose weight, well no shit captain obvious, if I wanted to hear that I'd go back to high school.

I go once a year for check-ups. I was going every month for tests for my weight loss, but they never found anything wrong and just told me as long as I was healthy, my weight wasn't a problem.

I had chicken pox when I was real young. Then I proceeded to pass it on to all of my brothers and my sister. haha

Got the results from the blood work. Seems I have to give up 3 of my kidneys. I thought I only had two? Later, QD.

I go when I need a doc, not for anything else. Probably going to go to the doc for my ankle and knee after softball season is over. I need surgery on both and have been putting them off for about 10 years.

I have a primary care doctor, a urologist, a rheumatologist, and a orthapedic doctor at my disposal due to horrible genetics lending me junk kidneys, a couple car accidents, years of playing sports, motorcycle accidents (both dirt bike and street bike), and what not....usually go to each every 6 mos or so, but have to go every now and then

went Monday as a matter of fact....i get this sweet build up of fluid on my knee sometimes due to scar tissue being gay....on some sweet anti-inflammatory/steroid mix and feeling 1000x better already

I only go if I am VERY VERY sick or just recently had to go to get my physical for racing, other than that, it's "let my body heal itself." lol I rarely get sick though.

never for a "check up"

once in past 10 years for a sinusinfection that gave me horrible head pain. I dont believe alot of things that ppl go to the doctor for are "doctor worthy" i stay out of the way unless i feel its very needed.

quickdodge®

never for a "check up"

It's not really a bad idea. I'm not doing a "once a year" type thing. And you also should remember, I'm over 40. I'm getting to where a check up is worth it every so often. And $20 is a good price to pay to find out how your body is doing. Later, QD.

havent been since I was 15 and i will be 31 this year. I have gone a few times for when I get a sinus infection or just so sick I have to. I am actually supposed to get a physical for work here in a couple of weeks so I am kinda curious on what they will say. I dont believe in the doctors and if possible I will stay away as long as I can.

i try to go as little as possible other than when i go get my flight physical. but thats mostly due to me not liking doctors and part not having insurance.
