Looking to run my R6 or GSXR, you pick against a 400+ hp car. I haven't had any successful runs with the bikes yet and would def like to get one or a few on vid. :goodjob:

For some reason, right when I clicked this thread I knew some1 would point that out. That's my fathers car and if it was mine, there isn't anyone in this world I'd allow drive it during a race. lol I've been to commerce and ran an 11.1 as a noob on the R6. They also don't allow cars vs. bikes so the streets is my best chance and for some good footage and good times. :goodjob:

Who said anything about welding? I build LS powered cars for a living hoss. I'm fully aware of what they are capable of. What are your other mods to get you up to 380hp?

Wow...so in your opinion, a turbo LS1 is still just a "bolt-on" LS1... typical street racer...

Anytime you change internals, its not really considered a "bolt-on". If you've ever installed a cam, you would know its more involved than a "bolt-on" mod is.

Let me dumb this down for you: A bolt-on, STOCK INTERNAL LS1 will make 380hp.

Not really. A 4 cyl has to spend a lot more money to beat a V8.
Ask yourself this question - would you rather spend $10K to build a fast 4cyl engine, or a V8 engine,a nd which do you think is going to make more power?
