I picked it up almost a month ago and figured I would make a continuing progression thread for it.. It is an imported RHD Del Sol Si-R. here goes...



Day 1
I bought the car and first thing I did when I got it home was take a ton of pictures.. Here is what it looked liked when I got it..

Night 1
After taking pictures, I took the sol to the local car wash and did a full detail on the car.. Also threw on some new wheels for the time being...

I dropped the motor and brake lines and painted the engine bay white.. Also stripped and polished the valve cover

I'll keep this thread going for as long as i have the car, and add when i make updates.. as far as PLANS for the car, i want to get everything BACK to being the Si-R. I have an Si-R motor at home I am going to rebuild. Get the Si-R steering wheel.. and the car was originally black, so I would also like to get it painted black again..

thankfully the car wasnt too low.. only problem was it did rub the paint off and i found some surface rust.. i just sanded it off and threw some flat white paint on there though.. thanks for the compliments man!!

The first thing I recommend! It was by far my favorite, get the EDM auxillarys. They are glass and use the same bulbs as the headlights of usdm! They are brighter then your headlights! They are sick. And if you want you could throw HIDs into them. :rolleyes: (don't recommend) bur they are just clean.

Most recent update.. i traded in the ebay coilovers and blown stock struts for some new suspension.. the car is now lowered on H&R lowering springs (still oem struts)

right now it sits higher than my preference, BUT money being short, and me not willing to ride on crap, it will have to do.. thankfully, however, it is not unbearably tall still!

i finally got the new motor completely resealed from head to toe.. everything was bought from the dealership :goodjob: dropped it in and it cranked first try!
motor is a JDM p30 b16a, b16 LSD trans w/ jdm p30 ecu!
has a skunk2 IM and 68mm TB
also have Hasport mounts as well :D
