Sounds to me like bobby talked the car up like he always does but when it loses its "wounded" or makes significantly less hp that what he claimed. This is of course what you have to do when you lie about the cars output in the first place. I mean if you claim a 240whp EG hatch taht weighs 2000lbs with his 100lb body in it, then that car runs LOW 12s, PERIOD. THat means there is LITTLE TO NO car in atlanta that should beat it. Much like Moselys car. But we all know that isnt true. So once again the internet numbers game doesnt add up.

This is the same bobby that claimed 400whp out of a stock turbo RB20 in his old S14 that he swore never had the gas on it but Jeff from Prospeed who dynoed it said bobby was full of shit. That and the dyno chart looked like a seismograph.

remember when he tried to arrange the 1st gear roll with you shortly after ya'll ran the 1st time? all he had done was put the proper plugs back in it (not plugs for a big shot, which make it run like ass on the motor), tach issues sorted out so he would know where to shift at, no passenger, and the tools taken out of it. So he sorted out his issues and wanted to run again.

All I'm saying is if you keep talking shit and saying your car is wounded. I hope it is. otherwise you might just dig yourself into a hole where you can't back up all the talking. LOL. Why does it matter that the RSX has a built motor? You have a built motor in your hatch. Built motor vs. built motor. Stop crying like you got mugged by someone with an unfair advantage.

You thought the RSX would be an easy kill, that's why you agreed to race it. 05dc5s even let you pick the race. You insisted upon the 50mph roll, got beaten, then asked to try something from a slower roll, but never again lined up to do a 2nd pull.

I never worried about losing in my ep3 with the built motor. I was supposed to lose to all the swapped hatches I raced. Just like the RSX was supposed to lose to your swapped hatch. Of course, things don't always pan out the way they're supposed to. ;)

N1 civic my car has has leaking valve stem seals since it was built but still makes over 250hp and runs low 12s for the last three years with a shity prelude trant weighing 2,480 pound with me in it . I read in here were someone said a low 12 second all motor car is basically unbeatable on the streets of atl . Boy my head is big now lmao. The rsx pulled good but it was a close race . that was a long run and even if it was two car lenghts thats a pretty close race with that distance. I give props to anybody that has a all motor setup that actualy stays together and N1 seems to be running almost as long as my car . Just because its three years old i wouldnt say my motor is wore out more like just getting broken in but i understand everybody likes to down play there car its cool. Hp is hp its doesnt matter what motor it comes from . Does rpms and topurqe play a part sure they do . My point is if im making 250hp and your making 200hp and we both weigh the same thing (you have already stated you have a 4.4 final drive) you are going to lose . If that rsx is making 290hp and weighs a good 500 pounds more then you do ten your car is making more 200hp because that was a pretty close race. Im not bashing on your car im actually giving it props just saying its making more hp then your letting on .

I also dont beleive that just because im runnng low 12s that i can out run N1,mosely,,gregg well who ever has a fast all motor car on the street . Running in the quarter mile is alot different then street racing . If you can get your car to hook at the track and you have less hp but i cant get mine to hook your going to win . I launch at 6,000 rpms at the track and get a great 60 foot times which contributes greatly to my low 12s time at the track. You take all that out the equation when you are street racing. All im saying is everybody trying to base there car off the fact that i out run him and he out run everbody else so im king shit is bull shit . Every night the air is different and your car runs different . When you get over 12.5 compression it makes a hudge difference which im sure N1 can tell if he is realy running 12.8 compression. I beat his car feels like it lost a cylinder going from a 30 degree day to a 90 degree day because my car feels like it loses a cylinder when it gets real hot.

Everybody can get on here and talk shit but all you are realy trying to do is talk the guys on here that dont know shit into beleiving what you are saying and your car is faster lol. The only real way to tell if your car is fatser is to go race period not type shit on a key board . I've never claimed to be a master tech. I have worked on cars, I can work on cars, BUT I CHOOSE NOT TO. Truth is I'm not very good at it. It's not a question of ability it's I just don't have the patience. I've replaced clutches trans done swaps, wiring, suspension all kinds of work kid. Just cause you think I didn't doesnt mean I can't or never did.

There were Plenty of times I stayed till 1-2am at mainstream changing out my girlfriends brakes or suspension on her type/r . My Crx I did all the work to, I just didn't build the motor and I don't see why that's such a big deal. I chose to go fast, you choose to build junk setups. To each his own.

And frankly I make more money with my brains than my hands. Accounting, IT work, business management tends to keep my hands much cleaner ;)

I cannot do brakes on a chevy, mainly because I don't care to. But yes gimme a garage and tools I can figure it out. Brakes are brakes. Engines are engines.

I have NEVER been hired as a tech at anyplace I worked. So congrats you can do brakes better than me on a chevy. I enjoy it and ill never regret the sacrafises i made to spend more time with my son but man was it nice not to get dirty and make tones of money lol. It does aggravate me when people question me about stuff and have never lifted a wrench (just read stuff on the internet ) . Beleive nothing you read and half of what you see lol.

He had 215/45/15 toyos on the car at the time, which is a 22.6" tire. very short. With the low revs he was pulling (8100 or so), and the type-r tranny he would only do about 95 in 4th, because I remember it only did 98mph @ 8500rpm. So he was right at 100mph or a couple mph higher when he let out. I'll give you 35-105 in 10 seconds in that video.

But why even try to compare youtube videos to each other. sure you can make observations about a single video... but comparing two youtube videos filmed under who knows what circumstances... is worse than trying to compare mainstream dyno #s to everyone elses ;)

Videos are not a good way to compare, but you guys sure did argue on k20 about time, distance traveled, etc.. All that mumbo jumbo i'll leave for you and Mike to explain!! :P

Please don't use a speedometer as a valid reference. and don't use the metric tire size in a gear calculator either. Every tire that says "205/50/15" is different. go measure the "rollout", one rotation of the tire on the ground by putting two pieces of tape down. measure it, plug it into a gear calculator if you really want to see how fast you go in each gear. of course slicks or other bias ply tires that deform won't work with that method but radials do.

Just saw your edit... go measure the rollout on your "24 inch" DRs and divide by pi. I'd be curious to see how they turn out. mine come to about 23.5 inches when fresh, 23.2 when worn a bit.

ok so it's only a 3.3% difference from 24.0 to 23.2, but at 120mph that is a 4mph error in the calculation

well they may be 24" but you'll never know until you measure them. if you do get a 75" rollout then props to MT for being accurate. from what I've seen most tire companies are not.

Give or take .5 of an inch on tire size my car has much longer gears than a K.. At the time when I thought of this build, I had kool aid in mind!! GSR tranny and a 150 shot on a 24 inch tire seems to work nice on the street, Now thinking at this present day I'd rather do a 22 inch tire on the 4.4!!
My setup is out dated, not an excuse, just lost interest over the years so nothing changed..

IF i was to stay All Motor than the tranny choice and final drive would change!! It's a lot different on the track.. :)

I disagree with that. The ONLY people i see making videos and racing are ATL natives. I dont see any of the NY2ATL speed people doing anything. Unless im missing it.

Furthermore, the guy has said he will only run his car on full out slicks (which i already explained good luck finding a street race in ATL with another NA car willing to roll out on full slicks). And then the only track event i heard the car go to it didnt even make a pass.

LOL! i tried to tell stretch the same thing. Maybe he'll find some guys in the v8 crowd that will go all out on slicks on the streets but in the honda crowd, nah. LOL! i was in autozone the other day getting spark plugs for my daily crx and the clerk behind the counter said "hey, what are u running in ur crx?, my cousin has B16 with a AEM intake and DcSports header on his motor in his crx and ITS FAST!" LOL!!!! So multiply him by 100-1000 other honda guys with the exception of a few and thats basiclly where we're still at.

Stretch is gonna get REALLY bored if he thinks he'll find a "ny street racing scene" here or try to create one, because when reality sets in, i.e poeple here STILL have to spend serious money to make their cars fast plus put in the seat time with their car so i think he's gonna be disapointed in what he sees. I could go buy another car, but hondas don't interest me anymore. Its boring. I did all there was to do to a street car. I've never been a track person , never was my talent.
