View Full Version : 1999 si...rebuilt or swap motor???

Alright i have a 99 civic si... it has arond 163,xxx on it (my DD) but im thinkin of getting parts for it but then i got to thinkin should i buy parts for it (with the miles it has) or should i just do a swap on it?!? i just bought WS2 for it and love how it sounds!!! but wasted a s**t load that wat got me thinking.... any feedback would be good

If it isn't dogged out 163,000 isn't too bad for a Honda. The receptionist at my work has an eg with 650,000. :lmao:

And I know a guy who ricer drives his accord around and has it modded and it's still running with 235,000 on the odometer.

to really know anything about your motor you want to do a leak down test and compression check .. If all checks well then keep what you have just take care of her ....

nah it isnt... just thinking of getting a lil perfermance n a bit more power since its my DD i really dont want to put much power in it.. u noe. Mainly goin for the looks but dont want to put alot of money in it due to the miles it has..
