so i bought some h.i.d.'s then i bought some black hjousing headlights (like every other honda driver :P) but then i figured i would acctually step it up a notch thanks to www.theretrofitsource.com and tore apart my new $200 dollar headlights to make it a little bit better looking. this is my first time doing a retro and i had help from my friend who did one in his 1991 prelude.

anyway not much to describe hope you enjoy the progress pictures.

first i started out with these morimoto projectors with mini gatlin gun shrouds

then i hacked up my headlights

then i put em back together again

and then the final product

overall im happy with it, and the light out put is 10x better than just having hids in headlights that arnt designed for them, these are also hi-lo projectors so when you hit your highs projector opens up to give out full light with out the cut off

hope you all enjoy :)

I'm not sure if i like it or not, but is it just me or does the passenger side projector look like it's aimed a lil too far down. As well, i'm thinkin if you took all that time to take it apart, why not paint the shroud and housing? but :goodjob: on being ambitious and not just setting for the regular black housing

why would i paint the housings? i just bought new headlights and if the shrouds should be painted then why did they come factory chrome? imo they look more factory than if they were painted up and all.

but to each their own thanks for the comment though :)

and ya ive got to do some adjusting on them just have put em in :)
