We have that option (last I heard)... But it is rarely taken. Personally I like the gas chamber, minus strapping the guy to the table. They strap they guy so tightly, not to keep him from escaping, but because the muscle contractions caused, can snap bones.

Does anybody remember that guy in the mid 90's that tried to get the electric chair replaced with the guillotine. That way the state could harvest the organs. I should have voted for that guy...
