Do you tell them that you are into cars and racing? I personally don't talk about it but I may say I like driving, nothing more than that. Or I may mention areas where I'm going that the races are going down and they aren't the wiser. :D ;)

no, from my experience if u let on that u like cars or all that . any time u want to go drive or something they'll be like " u spend too much time on ur car" " u love it more than me" " so you'd rather work on ur car than spend time with me?"

to me it just seems that they would use it against you

It usually wont come up in random conversation but eventually if I don't mention it I feel like I'm keeping a secret because I do put that much time and thought into it.

when my wife says the above, its yes to all three. She knows my passion for automotive things have been here long before her, and she accepts it
