Yea I know that but a vag-com will give more detailed answers the scanners at advanced don't always give the source of the problem.

rosstech is the maker of the cable, yeah. my buddy with a mk5 has a full rosstech cable and program and its better then my set up. i only use mine to check codes, he needs his to run logs and shit. you'll be happy with it for sure.

I've got the Ross-tech Micro-Can cable.. if your car is compatible with that, I'd be happy to help

i have a 03 a4 1.8t. do u know if it would work? i already got the car scanned with one and will be fixing it soon, but i wouldnt mind someone who can use the cable to unlock the "wind down windows" feature with just the keyfob and also running foglights.

I would think Gunther has one. I need to change some things around on my GLI, too. I'd be interested in someone local if they don't, though. MKVI.
