Fucking neighbors above me. Every step they take the whole building shakes. Fat ass old couple. The previous neighbors that moved out recently never made any noise. Since these new fat asses moved in, it has been none step banging on top of my head. As if they have 20 people living in that fucking apartment. Just went and complained for second time today after waiting a week hoping it would stop.

That really sucks...but if they are not up there running and jumping around you cant really do anything about it. The apartments we live in have 4inch thick concrete floors between the first and second floors. Pretty badass.

it's like none stop banging. Usually starts at 4am, and I leave for work at 7am. I come back home around 4pm and banging is continues till around 9pm. The next day is the same cycle, starts at 4am, and stops around 9pm at night. Shit drives me crazy. It's like they have a treadmill or something and run none stop.

I know what you mean. Lived in an apartment once, and the people above us had no respect at all. Every morning about 5am they would take a bath and you could hear beating foot steps until 7am. Not only that, we got noise vilations ever two seconds. Every one, was actually when we weren't doing anything wrong. We threw a party one time... Beer pong, music, about 60 people, etc.. and nothing! About a month later, it was just the three of us watching a movie and we got a noise complaint. Guy said he had a call that night we were yelling and whatnot.

Look, like you said you're in an apartment. That being said, maybe they aren't going out of their way to make noise and they are just larger people who tend to make more noise. Hopefully the complex used quality goods during the build. I feel your pain, complain to the office, keep complaining. That might just give you the chance to be moved to either another apartment or out of the complex. Complain IN WRITING, so there is a record of said complaints, word of mouth doesn't mean much anymore. It'll give you firm ground to stand on if you choose to leave due to their lack of concern for you. Not sure what avenues you've already though of but there are several ways to solve the problem at hand.

I did live in Marietta off Roswell back in the day, Right across from Wild Wings. Had a 3rd floor apartment. Those stairs sucked... Had a garage downstairs... In the back where I could park like of my own cars, no complaints...

We would have parties with 60+ people, music, screaming, girls laughing till 4-5-6 in the morning. It was almost an every night thing for a straight year, weekdays we only partied till 1-2 (8am job suckkked LOL) but weekends were worse.


We had 2 noise complaints the entire year. 1 was for watch BLACK HAWK DOWN on 5.1 surround turned wayyy up. The other was when two girls got in a fight on our porch/deck thing.



I felt bad for the people below me, but we invited them all the time?



Oh those were the days... Now I'm practically married, closing on a house, have a kid... I guess it was a change for the good.

Apparently a woman who lived across the way caught her husband with another woman when she came home and was shooting at him as he was running away. I wish I could have watched it from a safe, but close point of view.

you know i ran into the same problem i had a couple above me with a large dog and never heard a peep outta them. they move out and a single female move in there and it sounded like there were 15 people living there all day and all night like they never slept. i complained to the front office and they said that its normal to hear people upstairs that it part of apartment living. i told them they were fucking crazy ive live in the bottom apartment for the past 5 years and never heard one person upstairs until this lady. sounds like she jumps every where she goes. so i gave them my 60 day notice. At my old complex I just moved from I had neighbors above me that I just wanted to cut their legs off. Her daughter would be jumping rope at 10 PM when my son would already be asleep. I've called and complained a few times but most of the time I tried to just block it out. When I got to the point of being mad about it because they wouldn't stop I would take the broom stick and bang on the ceiling as hard as I could for like 5 minutes straight :)

I just moved off the 2nd floor of my apartment, i had to get you at 5 every morning and it seemed like they would start stomping around at 4am every day and wake me up a hour early and i couldn't fall back asleep..very bad way to start they day off...your right, after awhile it will make you go crazy. top floors suck bc of all the stair but they are kinda worth it,, hopefully they will finally realize and quite down haha GL
