Even the vortech had problems I've read. They had to custom fab everything. Someone mentioned "Front mounting" the sc...how?

It would take too much to "front mount" a supercharger since Vortech is a centrifugal supercharger.

You can mount the blower where the stock air box sits if you don't have ABS.

Which will require fabrication of a rod of some sort.

if you wanna do a twin screw, cuz the master cyl and brake booster are in the way. centrifugal, you can relocate the blower just have to have custom piping

or just relocate the master cylinder and brake booster

Or you can do a ls/vtec set-up and supercharge it

^ how does that solve the clearance issue?

almost forgot about it what if you use adjustable motor mounts ?

^ never herd of those but even if they are available how can they pull the engine 6 inches to clear the brake booster and master cylinder even if it did your axle and shift linkage angles are off not to mention the 1 and 3/4 inch clearance in the exhaust an fans?

or just relocate the master cylinder and brake booster
or when even have them, they are useless

Depends on if his brakes work of vacume don't think a sc would affect it much but pull the booster fab a bracket to move your master cylinder over about an inch and you should be good...pain in the dick if you want a diff pulley tho

Btw I'm looking into to the same setup another way is to machine a intake mani plate that drops the sc down to clear the brake setup

justnprsh07
03-26-2011, 03:21 PM

ya i seen the kit and it said manual front brakes only....does this apply to the one you have?

justnprsh07

its basically the same thing... its a wild wood mastercylinder with a adapter plate. it works just the same as the stock brakes just does away with the brake booster, all the brake booster does is make it very easy to press the brakes and with the wildwood your going to manual brakes so its very hard to push and fair warning its almost impossible to lock the brakes up so it takes some getting use to

Well when can I get it?
