So sometime yesterday, someone backed into may car that was parked right in front of my house and felt the need not to let me know. I went out to go get dinner for the lady and me, I saw shattered taillight plastic/glass, so I thought someone busted my taillights. I check and they're fine. I look at the plastic/glass again and that's when I noticed a huge dent in my door! The way my car is parked on the street, there's no way some one could back into me unless they were an idiot. I'm just mad that they didn't at least leave a note saying sorry or come knock on my door and tell me or something!!! Thank you that is all....

Well I just moved to Augusta, where this happened, about a few weeks ago and my car is under my parents insurance, I already talked to my dad and I'm about to get the police report done

This happened to me also while i was out the country, but they actually knocked on the door and left their insurance info with a family member. But good luck with that man.

Thanks, I wish these ppl would have left their info, just filed the police report. Part of the tail light had the part number on it and the Chrysler logo on it. Hopefully my insurance will cover it

Ha, don't even get me started about getting a police report. Almost the same thing happened to me in a parking lot. I go inside to pick up a couple things, not in there more than 10 minutes, and come out to notice my passenger side mirror crushed. Thinking, damn.. atleast they didn't mess up anything else on the car, I drive home to remove the busted mirror to only really inspect to see glass chunks inside my paint on the passenger side door. Yeah, whoever hit it must have been either in a hurry backing up or flat out were hauling ass in the parking lot and got super lucky not hitting the car itself. Well, I go back to the shopping center (That same day not more than a hour after) to see if maybe I could get someone to pull up some video footage... and guess what, Not one tape in that parking lot caught anything! I always park somewhat away from everyone in fear of the famous door dings. But still closer to the building than away. Anyways, fed up with the shopping center.. I call the police and have them send over a patrol car. Did a report, and he said I could call the number on a card he gave me with the case number in a few days. The next week, I call to only hear them tell me what I knew they would. Nothing can be done. So much for the Macon Police Department. They're maybe a few good cops out there, but about 80% of them are worthless! I mean, yes I know they can't just be super humans and just know who did it. But, why come.. have me fill out a long statement and ask several questions if you already know nothing can be done with out video or witnesses? Just tell me and I'll go on about my business.

I drive a 03 Tundra... It has tons of dings in the bed, busted tailight... Whatever. Otherwise I have a 78 F1250 on 35s, OD Green and a flat bed... Yeah go ahead and back into my truck. LOL I don't care. I can leave the truck anywhere for days on end, doors unlocked (I can't lock them anyway) and nobody touches the damn thing. Sadly enough my Old Ford runs better than some of the nicer 2000+ cars Ive had.

Via my mom. We have different insurance, but her's said, "Fuck you" and wouldn't pay because we live at the same address. Estimate was $1300 IIRC.
